Why do we come onto the mat regularly? To feel happy?

Sometimes after a Kundalini Yoga class, students share;
‘Today I’m not feeling happiness… I actually discovered sadness in me. Is this normal?’

Yes. It is.

Transformative practices like Kundalini Yoga are not here to give us happiness only. They guide us toward truth, authenticity, and the deeper healing that comes with it.

When we step onto the mat, we connect with our inner world. And in that space, suppressed emotions may begin to surface so that our life force can move more freely.

Sometimes we meet grief we never fully allowed ourselves to feel. Sometimes anger arises, words we couldn’t say, feelings we held back. Sometimes we reconnect with our innocent inner child, hidden inside stories where we’ve been blaming ourselves for years.

We are not on the mat to feel happy only. We are here to be honest. To be present. To allow ourselves to feel everything so, in its nature, energy can move.

And the more we allow ourselves to feel without labeling it as good or bad, the more we begin to release what has been stuck in the body which creates space for something profound such as inner peace and deeper connection with out inner world.

This is one of the ways healing naturally unfolds in this practice.

Next time you are on the mat, see if you are allowing yourself to feel what is truly there, making the most of your practice without judgment.

Days to create beauty from the inside out, to embody our divine expression in the world🌹

Days to let our creative force flow through uncertainty and negativity, calling upon love and faith for ourselves and for humanity.

To return home; to our body, to our breath, to our hearts and to reconnect with the divine within. From that place, we can begin to see the divine in everything around us.

I feel that these are the days to reconnect with our purpose to remain devoted and present to what feels true, even when life feels heavy.

The intention behind our actions matters. We don’t need impressive job titles to create meaning in our lives. The deeper I go into my journey, the more I realize it’s less about what we do, and more about how we do it, and the intention we carry within it.

I asked myself, “What is this all about?” Why are we doing all of this; working, searching, learning, evolving, and dying?

And the answer that came from my heart was simple.
You are life itself. The universe, the divine, expressing itself through this form. The meaning of life is to become life itself. To let it unfold. To let life live through you. To use your tools, to grow, to evolve.

Just as a rose blooms when it’s time, grows from the soil as a seed, and eventually lets its petals fall, our nature is no different. We are all colorful flowers, here to do our “work”… which is simply the unfolding and expression of our true being.

Days to be, to let life live through us…

(Tr aşağıda) A little catch from one of the classes✨ Seriously, what is this Kundalini everyone is talking about, even mainstream media?

How do we awaken it? What happens after? Is it even real, or just a fluffy spiritual word?

There’s a lot to say about it, but at its core, everything we do in life either feeds our life force or drains it.

Kundalini is simply our dormant creative life force. When it begins to awaken, dormant areas of the brain start activating, blooming like flowers and a deeper level of awareness emerges.

Some call this superconsciousness. Others call it remembering who we truly are.

It’s not something we force. Instead, we work with our body, mind, and heart, preparing a healthy vessel though yoga so this energy can move safely and naturally, in its own time.

This is why grounding, nervous system regulation, breathwork, meditation, movement, and emotional healing matter so much.

Because awakening isn’t about chasing an experience.

It’s about becoming available to our own life force. 🤍

Kundalini Yoga’nın pek çok katkısı ve etkisi mevcut. Bunların başında ise yolculuğunda sana güç vermesi, yaşam enerjini arttırması ve bunu yaparkende seni otantik haline yaklaştırarak özüne doğru bir davet olması. Eski kadim bilgiler ve teknikler aracılığı ile pratikler ve araştırmalar yapmak var burada. İçeride olana bakmak, hissetmeye izin vermek, arınmak ve içindeki gücü keşfetmek. Sinir sistemini yatıştırmak, zihni eğitmek…

Böyle kelimelere dökmeye çalışınca kulağa epey şiirsel geliyor fakat hakikati deneyim ile görünür olur. Seninde içinde merak ve varsa katılım gösterebilirsin, her seviyeye uygundur.

In between all not-knowings and chaos, what we can know is our choice.

What we choose each day when we wake up. What we choose when we see hurt people hurting one another.

We can choose faith.
Faith that regardless of how it looks outside, we carry an unexplainable power  given as our birthright from the moment we open our eyes to this Earth.

Just like the unexplainable desire to make life a beautiful story.

In the darkest times, the mind gets louder and asks: How? This is not possible.

Haven’t you heard the stories where the impossible happened? Where goodness won  if winning meant leaving a legacy, strengthening hope for others.

There are thousands of examples.

Hope is right here. Inside each of us.

When we believe wholeheartedly and refuse to give up, even while everything feels messy.

The world is still turning each day, with us in it. We are still breathing.

There is so much to do  inside and out.

We can use our voice. And voices grow louder together.

The power of creation. The power of creativity. Manifested expressions of God.

What else do we need?
The power of the heart  strong, shining. The fire still burning, giving hope to one another.

Hope is right here. Together.

Nothing is impossible.

I believe in miracles, regardless of what a few may say  shouting to make us believe their twisted stories, because they are getting lost.

Hope is right here.

In our choices each morning. At night, before entering the dream world where truth is revealed.

While walking down the street, thoughts turning into silent prayers, wishing safety for a stranger passing by, wishing well for everyone.

Hope is right here.

We are learning how to meet our darkness so the change becomes permanent.

Hope is right here  in the heart center, when we dare to look at it.

That is my wish for myself and for others.

While walking down the street, thoughts turning into silent prayers, wishing safety for a stranger passing by, wishing well for everyone.

We are learning how to meet our darkness so the change becomes permanent.

What a year 2025 was!! Called the year of Snake..✨

What does a snake do? It undergoes endless changes and transformations. Sheds skin again and again whenever her skin gets too tight, the protection of it becomes a wall between herself and her dreams, her essence. Her curiosity and feeling of comfort… She has to change and evolve, that’s the only way she can grow and survive.

Change can be scary. The unknown can be in the darkness before we consciously bring light with trust and fate. Evolution can be confusing time-to-time as we know something is no longer working and it may take time to understand and rebuild what actually works. She may feel naked… Naked before the newly fresh skin becomes a comfortable vehicle and movement in it is easy like a sip of breath!

It’s her nature, she can’t help.

Rather than fighting, she accepts it and adapts the dance. Dance of life! No reason, no meaning, no question. Dance is the dance itself with all meaning and snake year made us grow a lot in between all inner, outer changes, that’s how I see it :)

Excited for what is ahead of us collectively.

I hope we take the responsibility for our lives and creations instead of staying in victimhood which holds us back from acknowledging our power.

I hope we easily surrender to what we can’t control and find the treasure and beauty in it.

I hope those dreams we had when we were little takes plenty of time from our daily lives and give joy to our hearts.

I hope together we create more love in this world despite our traumas and conditionings that cause pain and separation. Choose to be more gentle and hold space for one another, allow each other to feel and express.

Authenticity is the key i believe and the courage to speak up our truth in the societies, relationships, communities…

Big amount of healing there🤍

My wish for 2026 is to get closer to my essence more and more, live in alignment with my true self, express what wants to be born every step of the way in my soul rhythm.

Hear the forest wherever I go…🎶

I am beyond grateful for everything and everyone who took a part in my life this year, thank you for all.

While traveling the world, sharing Kundalini for the first time here made it very especially meaningful for me :)) 🤍

Allow the ‘isness’ of all things.

Karşımıza iç dünyamızı aynalayan insanlar ve durumlar çıkar. Onlar hep çıkmıştır fakat biz bu sefer yeni bir farkındalık ve merak ile yakından izlemeye başlarız. Bunların hepsi kendimize doğru istikrarlı adımlar atmamız için bir fırsattır. Karanlık dediğimiz duygular ile yüzleşip içindeki ışığı farketmek, içimizde yaşayan küçük çocuk ile olgun yetişkini bir araya getirmek, ihtiyacımız olan sevgiyi her seferinde biraz daha fazla, biraz daha derinden kendimize verebilmek için.

Öz sevgi her an iyi veya mutlu hissetmekten çok, kendimizi her koşulda bırakmamayı ve kabul etmeyi seçmektir.

I have been learning to honor every part of myself with deep love and feeling gratitude for this soul journey on Earth… The past 365 days weren’t always easy or perfect but they were filled with love, faith, joy and endless support whenever I needed it. I’m deeply grateful to be alive - learning, growing, remembering and creating.
Thank you to everyone playing a role in this movie; family, friends, students, teachers, community, nature..
I believe we truly learn through each other and life becomes meaningful when we share it in our unique ways, follow what keeps us alive, and keep evolving.
Today I celebrate not only my birth, but all the deaths and rebirths - every time change knocks the door and I dare to shed an old skin.
I honor our connection with the source, and my desire to live in this mystery deeply.
